13 Months of Sunshine at the Gene Siskel Film Center
August 2009
13 Months of Sunshine will be playing at the Black Harvest Film Festival (scroll to page bottom) at the Gene Siskel Film Center in Chicago. Show times are at 6:15 pm on Friday, August 14th and Wednesday, August 19th. On Friday the 14th there will be a revival of the popular event from past Black Harvest Festivals, “A Date on State.” See the 6:15 show of 13 Months of Sunshine, and then use your ticket for admittance to a post-movie party in the gallery/café.

Katherine books Santa Ana Winds

Katherine booked the role of 'Anne' in the AFI Short film Santa Ana Winds. Shooting completed in May and the film is scheduled to debut in October of 2009. The movie web site is here.

Marian Berzon 1934-2009
January 2009
Marian Berzon passed away January 16, 2009 from lung cancer. She was a lovely lady, a good agent and a real character. Marian called everyone "Honey". She will be greatly missed.

Films Screening in June

Three of Katherine's films are screening this month:

The indie short Back Roads starring Katherine and Toni Sawyer will be screening Saturday June 7th at 1pm at The Regency Fairfax Theater at 7907 Beverly Blvd. in Los Angeles. Back Roads will be followed by the feature film Bonneville starring Jessica Lange,Kathy Bates and Joan Allen. The dual screening is a special event for the Red Hat Society.

The full-length indie feature 13 Months of Sunshine is playing for the entire month of June at Culver Plaza Theatres in Culver City at 9919 Washington Blvd in Culver City, CA. Show times are Fridays 9:30pm, Saturday 7:30pm and Sundays 4:00 pm. Katherine plays an INS agent in the film. You can see the trailer on YouTube.

The noir thriller Agent 5 has been accepted to screen at the International Film Festival of England 2008 in Tamworth, Leicestershire on Friday, June 13th. Agent 5 has been nominated for "Best Film Noir 2008" at the festival. Katherine has a supporting role in the film.

Katherine books Wendy's Commercial

Katherine booked a commercial for Wendy's Restaurants, "Love Mornings" (it's not what you're thinking) to promote their new Maple-Baked Frescuit breakfast entree. Filming finished March 20th at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, CA. The commercial is scheduled to air regionally and may air nationally as well.

Coming To Town Nominated for HBO Comedy Award, to air on HBO in 2007

Katherine recently appeared in Coming to Town, a dark comedy about Santa's 'bad' brother and how he comes into play when a girl tormented by bullies asks for revenge, not gifts, for Christmas. It makes 'Bad Santa' look pale by comparison. Coming To Town has just been nominated for an HBO Comedy Award, it will be screened at the HBO Comedy Award Film Festival in Aspen, Colorado on February 28th and will air on HBO sometime in 2007.
Katherine plays the mother of the bully who finds herself and
her husband on the wrong end of some elf business on Christmas Eve. A clip of
the movie is included as part of Katherine's reel here. (Note it's NOT for
kids.)
